This programme is a journey of personal transformation. Module 1 is a three-day retreat to discover the possibilities of your personal leadership field. In modules 2, 3 and 4, we expand our perspective and explore the dynamics of transformation in relationships and organisations.


Leading Through Intent

Module 1:  First we must learn to lead ourselves. We begin by exploring how to connect with what is really important and how to state a clear intent. Both for you as an individual and for what you want to create within your organisation. Then we unfold the dynamics your leadership persona enabling you to take ownership of your unique style, gifts and way of being as a leader. This module is about making a choice to both move with intent and to let go of your immediate answers so that transformation can begin to unfold.

Breaking Through Limitations

Module 2: You begin to discover blindspots and beliefs that keep you from initiating real transformation. It is a humble discovery of stories, biases and wisdom, when we move beyond pre-concieved ideas. This module is about learning how to operate from trust in the midst of chaos and uncertainty. You will explore how to be in relationship to yourself and others while letting go of control and curiously listening for what is now possible. Once you begin to move through your own limitations, you can create a playing field for leading others.

Advancing Through Boundaries

Module 3: This module is an exploration of collaboration, dialogue and interaction as we begin to look at how we lead system transformation. Boundaries exists in how we talk and act, in the structure of our meetings, standards, processes and systems. In this module we look at how you can embody and use boundaries in your way as a leader – like leading through intent. Then explore the impact of differing worldviews, shared vision and how we can design the beginning of a transformation. Finally we introduce how pioneering organisations apply boundaries to generate results.

Embodying Transformation

Module 4: This module is about creating a path for continued transformation. Most importantly: what you are now willing to become and stand for. On an organisational level, we explore the possibilities of community as a source of transformation, how meaning is built and affects performance and commitment, and the role of legacy. We conclude by helping you define concrete pragmatic initiatives and structures that will help both you and your organisation to continue to learn and transform.

Four ways to look at your leadership field

Any situation or challenge that you face as a leader can be viewed through four lenses:

The way that an individual thinks (mindset) and acts (behavior) and how we collectively see the world (culture) and organise ourselves (systems).

Thus, if your leadership field is to create an innovative company, you must consider not only how to build systems that stimulate innovation, but equally foster a culture of psychological safety, where people believe they can run with bold ideas and actually take on projects they don’t know how to solve.

These four lenses define the boundaries of your leadership field and they are all essential to a successful transformation.
